Lloyd Chaudoin Dies; Buried at Nortonville

Lloyd Russell Chaudoin, 65, of rural Auburn, died suddenly Mon. following a heart attack suffered while visiting his sister and husband Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hogan in Jacksonville. The remains were brought to the Neece Funeral Home in Franklin.

He was born in Morgan County Jan. 10, 1903, son of Wm. Ezra and Janie Mason Chaudoin. He was married to the former Florence Ruth Hendrickson in Nov. of 1935, and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Lloyd Ezra of Elkhart and Gene Leon of Springfield; four brothers, William of Jacksonville, Sam, Ralph and Monroe of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Hogan and Mrs. Harlan Witherbee, both of Jacksonville, and four grandsons.

Lloyd Chaudoin was a member of the Youngblood Baptist Church at Nortonville.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Youngblood Church, Rev. Ollie Phillips of Roodhouse officiating.

Music was furnished by the church choir, with Brenda Whitlock at the piano. The songs were "Old Rugged Cross," "What a Day That Will Be" and "In the Garden."

Flowers were cared for by Lydia Whitlock, Sandra, Dorothy, Bonita, Sylvia and Delores Chaudoin, Clara Bow Cox, Georgia Wills, Joan Allen and Sharon Witherbee.

Pallbearers were Dale, Henry, Carroll and Paul Dean Chaudoin, Leslie Cox and Billy Witherbee. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
