Frankie" Bracewell
MURRAYVILLE - Frances O. "Frankie" Bracewell, 97, of rural Murrayville died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1992, at her daughter's home near Murrayville.
She was born in Athensville, the daughter of John and Sarah Sharpe Dyer York. She married W. Edgar Killebrew on July 26, 1911. He died Feb. 1, 1953. She then married Norris Bracewell on Jan. 3, 1962. He died May 20, 1972.
She is survived by one son, Albert Killebrew of Jacksonville; four daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Clarice) Wells of franklin, Mrs. Wilfred (Fern) Clayton of Murrayville, Mrs. Clifford (Lelia) Raiford of Georgetown, Texas, and Mrs. Dale (Florence) Blimling of Roodhouse; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Howard (Wanda) Goodrich of Jacksonville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Edgar Killebrew; one daughter, Nellie Ambier; one stepson, Wayne Bracewell; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nita Wood and Grace Alender.
Mrs. Bracewell was a homemaker and member of the Murrayville Baptist Church and the Murrayville American Legion Auxiliary Gold Star Mother.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mackey Daws Funeral Home in Murrayville with burial at Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Sunday, with family meeting friends from noon until services. Memorials may be made to Carmi Children's Home in Carmi.
