EDWARD PEARSON OF ARNOLD SUCCUMBS

Death Occurs in Hospital Here This Morning After Long Illness

Edward Pearson, 64, died at Passavant hospital at 9:30 a.m. today after an extended illness.

Mr. Pearson was born in Christian county July 3, 1873, and was married to Clora Foster. His wife preceded him in death in August 1926.

Mr. pearson is survived by the following children, all of Jacksonville and vicinity, Harold, Mrs. Lenora Belzer, Hayden, Darwin, Cecil and Lucille. One brother, Aaron, of east of the city, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Keller, of Taylorville, also survive.

Mr. Pearson has followed the occupation of farming all of his life. He was a member of the Ashland camp of the Modern Woodmen of America.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Williamson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Yatesville cemetery.
