Mrs. Nancy D. Davis

Waverly, Aug. 21 - Mrs. Nancy Dennis Davis, 86, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at the Tosh nursing home in Waverly.

Mrs. Davis was born in 1869, in Morgan county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dennis. Heer husband, Franklin "Friday" Davis, died May 25, 1954.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Della Mae Sevier, Nausa, Mont.; three sons, William Witherbee, Galesburg; Glen H. Witherbee, Kent, Wash., and Earl Witherbee, Schiller Park, Ill.; 18 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Remains were taken to the Neece funeral home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Robert Kater officiating. Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery.
