Bell.

John Bell, a native of Wayne county, Kentucky, but a resident of Morgan county for the last fifteen years, passed away at 11:30 o'clock this morning at Our Saviour's hospital where he had been under treatment for some time. He had been in ill health for the last five years.

The decedent was born Dec. 27, 1865. The earlier part of his life was spent in Kentucky. He had always been engaged in farming. After coming to this county he lived in the Pisgah community. Not long ago he moved to Prentice. Mr. Bell was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are hsi wife; three step-children, Jesse and Ernest Morrow and Mrs. Cleo Adams, all of Bushnell, Ill.

The remains were removed to the undertaking parlors of John H. O'Donnell. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Union Baptist church in Pisgah. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
