After a lingering illness of several months, with that dreaded disease, consumption, Wm. Blaney, aged 48 years died at his home in St. Louis last Monday evening Nov. 6, and was brought to this city on Wednesday where a short service was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Y.M. Hodgerson, after which the body was laid to rest in the Turner Cemetery. Mr. Blaney was a nephew of Mrs. Hodgerson and was well known in this vicinity.
