Mrs. Spainhower of E. Beecher Avenue Dies Wednesday

Funeral Service Will be Friday; Interment at Sulphur Springs

Mrs. Mabel Spainhower, wife of Milton W. Spainhower, passed away yesterday morning at Our Saviour's hospital. The family home is at 355 East Beecher avenue.

The decedent was a resident of Morgan County 35 years. She was born near Riverton, Ill., Oct. 8, 1890, a daughter of William and Martha Frances Hood. Her marriage with Mr. Spainhower was solemnized Oct. 25, 1906 in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Spainhower was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Russell Spainhower; one granddaughter, Shirley Ann Spainhower; her mother, Mrs. Martha Hood Carter of this city, and the following brothers and sisters; Goldie Allison, Hollywood, Calif.; Alva Hood, Jacksonville; John Hood, Trenton, Iowa.
