1908 - 1999

Gertrude B. Conlee, 91, of Jacksonville died Friday evening, May 28, 1999, at Skyview Terrace, Ltd.

She was born Jan. 19, 1908, in rural Morgan County, the daughter of Henry and Emma Shoemaker Wallbaum. She married Elzy Conlee and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert (wife, Ethel) Wallbaum of Waverly and Henry Edwin Wallbaum of Cincinnati, Ohio; and one sister, Anna Flynn of cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond (surviving wife, Bernita Wallbaum of Jacksonville), Paul (surviving wife, Jenny Wallbaum of Cincinnati, Ohio), Anthony Wallbaum and Frank Wallbaum.

Mrs. Conlee was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Our Saviour.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. The Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
