CHILDERS, WILLIAM B.
Jacksonville - July 18, 1932

William Benjamin Childers died at his home in Alexander Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock. The decedent is survived by his wife, parents, and five children, Edith, Orville, Alfred, Clara, and Mary Childers. Also surviving are seven sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Lucy Smith and Jane Childers, Springfield; Mrs. Howard Combs, Carlinville; Mrs. Martin Flynn, Loami; Mrs. William Flynn, Alexander; Mrs. Mae Woods and Mrs. Margaret Lash, Franklin; Ike C. and John Childers, Loami; and Charles of Lincoln. The remains were taken to the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be conducted at the Sulpher Springs church near Alexander.

Jacksonville - July 18 - William Benjamin Childers died at his home in Alexander Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock. The remains were taken to the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the Sulpher Springs church near Alexander.

(These were typed exactly as they appeared in the papers. They both appeared in the paper on July 18, 1932 - he died on the 17th. Ben's wife was Katie Alice (Lash) and his parents were James Monroe and Mary Louella (Deever) Childers. These are not named above. Also, Sulphur is misspelled in both copies.)
