David H. Antle, 78, formerly of Naples, died at Meline Manor at 4:50 a.m. Friday, July 28.

He was born in Morgan County May 4, 1911, a son of Thomas B. and Dicie Rhoads Antle, He married Mary K. Hamm on July 28, 1972. She survives, along with four sons, David Jr. of Midland, Texas, Thomas of Naples, Larry and Mark Edward all of Jacksonville; a daughter, Dicie Lash, also of Jacksonville; a brother, Norman of Jacksonville; a sister, Mary Antle of Jacksonville, 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded by a brother and two sisters.

He retired from J. Capps & Sons.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Williamson Funeral Home with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery at Pisgah. Visitation will be 9:20 a.m. Monday until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials suggested to the Cancer Society.
