Following the death of Rebecca (Scott) Cox in 1848, Leartis W. Cox was married on Feb. 13, 1849, in Morgan Co. to Elizabeth Ann (Crawley) Reynolds, widow of John Reynolds and daughter of Asa and Hopestill Crawley.
Following Asa's death in Adair Co. Ky, Hopestill moved with her children to Morgan Co. before Feb. 13, 1833, where she was married to Ebenezer Hoag. Ebenezer and Hopestill are buried in the Hoag Cemetery in Morgan Co.
