BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL

The remains of Miss Phoebe C. Reed, who died at Girard Friday, were brought here Monday morning and funeral services conducted from the Baptist church in charge of Elder J. E. Curry, assisted by Rev. W. E. Keenan

Music was furnished by Mrs. O. B. Rees, Misses Chattie Duncan, Lola Austin and Grace Hill, Rev. W. E. Kennan and A. G. Cody, with Miss Grace Armstrong as accompanist.

Interment was made in the Reed Cemetery west of town.

The bearers were Geo. B. Haynes, Wm. Whalen, Dennis Whalen, J. W. Scott, Chas. Watts and W.M. Rees.

Miss Reed was a daughter of the late James L. Reed and was born and reared in this community living here until six years ago when she removed to Girard.

She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. J. D. Pike, of South Jacksonville; Mrs. Al Rothwell and Mrs. J. F. Self, of Jacksonville; Mrs. John Pike, of Grain Valley, Mo.; and Mrs. Clara Bolton, of Lyons, Kan.
