RYNDERS, ISAIAH

Waverly Journal Enterprise, Aug. 26, 1910

Isaiah Rynders, son of Andrew and Arena Rynders, was born near Waverly, Ill., July 30, 1861, and departed this life Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, August 23, 1910, of neuralgia of the heart, at the family residence six miles southwest of Waverly. Aged 50 years and 23 days. He was united in marriage with Nancy Jane Britenstine, May 8th, 1884. To this union were born four children, viz: Eliza Arena, Bertha May, Anna Elizabth and William Isaiah. Two daughters, Arena and Bertha, having preceded him to that heavenly land where there is rest and peace for all.

Mr. Rynders was a true believer of Christ's teachings, having been sprinkled in the Methodist church in infancy, later converted at the age of fifteen years at New Hope church and immersed during the fall of 1903. He never united with any church, but was a loyal servant for the followers of Christ. Being a loving companion and a kind and considerate parent, he was highly esteemed by all who knew him. After suffering patiently for several weeks the end came peacefully and true to Mr. Rynders' faith he was unattended by a physician.

he is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Rouland, one son, William, at home, one brother, Douglas of Colorado, one half brother, William of Waverly, also a host of other relatives and a wide circle of friends.

He has paid the debt by the price we all must pay, but our loss on earth is his gain in heaven.
