ERIXON, HAZEL FERN ARMITAGE

Hazel Fern Erixon, 82,of 1157 So. East, formerly of Woodson, died Saturday morning, July 16, at Modern Care Convalescent Facility. She was born in Valley City Dec. 27, 1900, daughter of Walter and Mary Etta Taylor Armitage. She married J. D. Erixon and he died in 1972.

Surviving are a son, Roland Erixon of Jacksonville; a daughter, Mary Joann Brasel of E. Moline, four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, Otto Armitage of Jacksonville.

Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Williamson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday, the family will meet friends 7 - 9 p.m.


ERIXON, JOHN DELBERT

Jacksonville Journal Courier Nov. 19, 1972.

John Delbert Erixon, 72, of 1157 S. East St., died Monday afternoon at Passavant hospital.

Born north of Jacksonville in Morgan County March 13, 1900, he was a son of Samuel T. and Rosella Rexroat Erixon.

He married Hazel Armitage in 1919. She survives, along with one daughter, Mrs. John (Joann) Brasel of East Moline; one son, Roland of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Stewart and Mrs. Kathryn Evans; one brother, Rex Erixon, all of Jacksonville; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Erixon was a livestock buyer for the Woodson Order Buyers. He was a member of the Sportsmans Club and the Grace United Methodist church.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.Wednesday at the Williamson Funeral Home with the Rev. William J. Boston officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.

The family will meet friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


ERIXON, ROLAND C.

Jacksonville Journal Courier, Date Unknown

Roland C. Erixon, 66, 1809 S. East St., died 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 1987 at the Monmouth Community Hospital.

He was born April 28, 1921, in rural Scott C., son of J. D. and Hazel Armitage Erixon., He married Robertine Walker June 12, 1948, in Jacksonville. She survives with a son Lance Erixon, R. R. 5, Jacksonville; a daughter, Gayle Fritz of Belleville; a granddaughter, Michelle Fritz; a sister Mrs. John (Joann) Brasel of East Moline; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Erixon was owner/operator of Erixon Hog Market 42 years. He was a member of the Woodson American Legion, Woodson Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Williamson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
