Carl Bosse while working in a field ten miles northeast of Meredosia was struck and instantly killed by lightening late Friday afternoon. Mr. Bosse was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bosse; whose farm home is located a few miles east of Meredosia, and the family is well known in that locality.

Mr. Bosse, who is about thirty-five years of age is survived by his wife and four children. He leaves also five brothers and four sisters.

Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.
