KENNEDY.

Sarah S. Kennedy died at the home of her son, A. H. Kennedy at the advanced age of 83 years. She came with her parents to Illinois from Tennessee in 1829 and had resided in Murrayville and vicinity almost continuously since. She was the mother of 13 children, nine of whom survive her. Three children, Mrs. E. F. Million, Mrs. Walter Hanback and A. H. Kennedy, with whom she had made her home for some time, reside at Murrayville. She had been a member of the Methodist church almost from childhood and was a consistent Christian. The funeral will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Methodist church in Murrayville and interment will be in Gunn cemetery, five miles south of town.
