Ada Wohlers, 79, died at her home at Route One, Meredosia, early Thursday, July 10, 1980.

She was born January 19, 1901, at her rural residence, daughter of Martin and Margaret Hemminghaus Wohlers.

Surviving are these brothers and sister, Lariena Wohlers, at home; Lewis {Louis} Wohlers of Jacksonville and Raymond Wohlers of Meredosia. Two brothers, Arthur and Martin, preceded her in death.

Miss Wohlers was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Services were held at 1:20 pm Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Bethel with Rev. Edward Gruenwald officiating. Burial was in Grace Cemetery at the church.

Shirley Fricke was the organist and accompanied for congregational singing.

Ushers were Orville Fricke and Gary Boehs.

Pallbearers were Donald, Melvin, Ralph and Richard Wohlers, Lloyd Ginder and Paul Dufelmeier.

Burial was in Grace Cemetery at the Church.

Williamson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the church or to the Meredosia Rescue Squad.
