Lillian E. Thompson, 87, of San Francisco, Calif., and formerly of Jacksonville, died early Saturday morning December 26, 1998, in San Francisco.
She was born September 24, 1911, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Luther L. and Mary E. Lewis Beemer.
She is survived by two brothers, Verlon Beemer of Paducah, Ky., and Edward Beemer of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Kaij (Florence) Bentzen of San Bruno, Calif., and Mrs. Remel (Mardell) Fari of Carmi; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Myron, Bernie, Clyde and Albert Beemer, and one sister, Allene Brackeen.
Mrs. Thompson worked as a secretary for the United States Government in San Francisco for many years.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery north of Jacksonville. The family will meet friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
