ANNA LOUISE HART HARRISON

Mrs. E. T. Harrison

Mrs. E. T. Harrison who had sustained a paralytic stroke on Wednesday of last week, died Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harold Lowery. She was 61 years, 7 months and 23 days of age.

Anna Louise Hart, daughter of Francis and Emily Hart was born July 20, 1877, at Sinclair, and grew to womanhood in that community.

On December 7, 1898, she was united in marriage to E. T. Harrison. To this union were born five children: Alfred H., of Virginia; Helen Welch, of Waverly; Allan C., of Ashton; Ethel Lowery, of Waverly; and E. T. Jr., of Jacksonville.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrison established their home in Philadelphia, Ill., where they lived for three years. They moved to Waverly in 1902, residing here until 1926, during which time Mr. Harrison was engaged in the grain business. They then moved to Jacksonville, and lived there for thirteen years, again coming to Waverly last September, to make their home with their daughter, Mrs. Lowery.

Mrs. Harrison united with the Hebron Methodist church at an early age, and after moving to Jacksonville transferred her membership to Central Christian Church, remaining a faithful member until her death.

Surviving are her husband, and five children; ten grandchildren; and one brother, E. E. Hart of Sinclair, besides many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Harrison was a loyal wife and faithful mother, ever devoting herself to the best interests of her home and her family.

Funeral services were held at Central Christian Church in Jacksonville, Wendesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. M. L. Pontius, assisted by Rev. W. M. Groves, of Springfield, pastor of the Waverly Christian Church.

Mrs. Wilson M. Smith sang "In the Garden,: and "No Night There", the accompanist being Miss Lois Brown.

The pall bearers were John Moore, Frank Fox, Fred Bateman, Allan S. Woods, John Neumann, and Richard Whalen.

The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Allan S. Woods, Mrs. W. M. Groves, Mrs. Richard Whalen, Mrs. Fred Bateman, Mrs. Ray Bottom, Mrs. Leroy Stubblefield, Mrs. Paul Kroush, Mrs. Fred Quinn, Mrs. C. E. Dunseth, Misses Mabel Neumann, Alice Louise Hart, and Ina Swain.

Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, north of Jacksonville.
