MARGARET B. HALL

Margaret B. Hall, 85, of Auburn and formerly of Jacksonville, died Monday morning, Jan. 3, 2000, at Lynncrest Manor Nursing Home in Auburn.

She was born June 21, 1914, in Morgan County, the daughter of Harry and Lottie Braner Barber. She married Hubert Hall in 1937, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1967.

She is survived by one son, Edward W. (wife, Ina) of Grand Cayman Islands, British West Indies; one daugher, Barb of Kapolei, Hawaii; five grandchildren; and one sister, Charlotte Schier of Auburn. She was preceded in death by twin brothers in infancy.

Mrs. Hall was a nurse for 20 years for Dr. Mary Louise Newman in Jacksonville and later at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest. She was a member of the Ebenezer Church and enjoyed reading.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Canine Companions for Independent Living or Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
