This destroyed cemetery was located about 1/2 mile south of Lynnville but no trace of it is now to be seen as the tombstones have been removed. The burial ground reportedly was situated on a ridge at the location given above. It was in a field northwest of the T-road intersection halfway between Lynnville and the Morgan-Scott county line.

William Wilson was listed as owner of this land in the 1872 edition of the "Atlas Map of Morgan County, Illinois." Apparently his death certificate is not recorded in Morgan County and a Jacksonville relative believes William Wilson died in the late 1800s or early 1900s in Scott County, Illinois.
