Mrs. Mary Hardwick of Merritt, who was brought to Winchester for care and treatment, passed away Friday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock, aged 91 years.

Mrs. Hardwick was a member of the Methodist church of Merritt. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Craven of Jacksonville and Mrs. Belle Hansel of Granite City, also a number of nieces and nephews, a grandson and great grandson.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Gillham Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with Rev. Robert Swain officiating.

Miss Beilby Leach sang two solos, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Golden Bells." Frank Calloway sang "In the Garden." Mrs. Roy Coultas played accompaniment for the soloists.

Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Albert Jewsbury, Mrs. W. D. Hitt, Mrs. Gus Coultas and Mrs. Dorothy Hazelwood.

The casket bearers were Albert Jewsbury, W. D. Hitt, Sam Coultas, Bert Chrisman, Earl Baptist and Andrew Holland. Interment was in the Campbell cemetery.
