Glenn E. [Red] Beeley- Jacksonville Journal Courier Sept. 25, 1949- Night foreman for the Jacksonville, Journal courier suffered a heart attack at age 38. Reavy funeral home in charge of arrangements. Services at 8:30 at Church of Our Savior, burial at Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville. Son of T. Grover and Etta Butcher Beeley. b. June 11,1911 in Meredosia, Illinois Married Bernice Quinlan Jan 20, 1934. She survives along with their three children Larry, Glenda Ann, and Donald. His parents survive along with three brothers Marvin, Lemont, Illinois, Alfred Santa Monica, Calif. Bernard of Bluffs, and two sisters Mrs. Harold [Dorothy] Morthole, and Mrs. Cecil [Mardell] Strubbe Bluffs.

Meredosia March 29, Thomas D Beeley of Meredosia died at the home of his son Grover Beeley near Bluffs Monday after an illness of several months. He is survived by four children, Mrs Ella Schweer of Winchester, Howard Beeley of Princeton, Mrs Martha Schnake Winchester and Grover Beeley of Bluffs. Funeral services will be held at the home of Grover Beeley at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and at 2:30 at the Meredosia M. E. Church. Interment will be made in Oakland Cemetery, Meredosia.


BEELEY, MARTHA (HULTZ) ZERBY

Meredosia March 13, Mrs. Martha Beeley mother of Grover Beeley of Jacksonvile, Mrs J. F. Schnake and Mrs George Schweer of Winchester and Howard Beeley of Princeton Illinois died here today at the age of 86 years. Funeral services will be held here Monday morning at the M. E. Church .Mrs. Beeley was born in Coles County, Illinois daughter of Dr. Daniel and Rebecca Hultz. She married Oct. 4,1844 to J. F. Zerby of Concord, who died a short time later. Two children. Lorena and John Francis proceeded the deceased in death.

On Feb. 3,1873 Mrs. Hultz was married to Thomas Beeley
