Marguerite Pearson, once of area, dies
Waverly - Marguerite B. Pearson, 60, of St. Charles, Mo., and formerly of Scottville, died Friday, Oct. 11, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles.
She was born Dec. 24, 1930, in rural Franklin, a daughter of Galen R. and Ada L. Fairburn Seymour.
She is survived by a special friends, Arthur Pearson of St. Charles, Mo.; her mother of Scottville; one brother, Walter Seymour of Scottville; two sisters, Irene Dowland of Scottville and Mary Ball of Murrayville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Jones and Betty Butler.
Mrs. Pearson worked as a secretary to the plant manager at Anderson-Clayton Co. in Jacksonville and as a legal secretary in St. Charles, Mo. She was a member of the Scottville Christian Church and an accomplished pianist and organist.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Neece Funeral Home in Waverly with burial at Bull Cemetery in Scottville. Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Tuesday with the family meeting with friends 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Bull Cemetery Association.
