SOLOMON HART'S DEATH OCCUR'S AT HOME LAST NIGHT

Aged Morgan County Resident Passes Away After Several Weeks Illness - Funeral Will Be at Hartland Church

Solomon Hart, aged 86, well known retired farmer of Morgan county, passed away at his home 1236 South Clay avenue at 11:45 o'clock last evening after an illness of several weeks.

Mr. Hart has been a resident of Jacksonville for the past twelve years coming here from the Harts Prairie neighborhood south of Franklin where he had resided for many years.

He was a pioneer farmer of the Harts neighborhood where he was favorably known.

Mr. Hart was a member of the Hartland church having served as one of its trustees for more than fifty years. He was also affiliated with the Masonic Lodge of Franklin, holding a life membership in that fraternity, having been a member for more than 53 years.

He is survived by his widow and the following children: Clyde Hart, Mrs. Bert Cox, Mrs. L. C. Hicks and Mrs. Shelby Smith, all of Jacksonville; Mrs. Bert McNeely, Pisgah; Mrs. Sam Seymour, Commerce, Okla.; Mrs. Ross Dugger, Anderson, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Hartland church, with interment in the Bull cemetery.
