WILLIAM E. FAIRBURN

William E. Fairburn, 82 year old resident of Waverly, passed away at 1:11 a.m. on Thursday, April 9 at Our Saviour's Hospital in Jacksonville where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Mr. Fairburn was born on a farm south of Waverly, October 4, 1882 where he lived his entire life.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Foster of Waverly; Mrs. Jesse Turner of Roodhouse; and Mrs. Galen Seymour of Scottville. Other survivors include ten nieces and two nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother who died at the age of 2� years.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 11 at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. John Muir officiating. Burial was in the Bull Cemetery at Hartland.
