A coroner's jury determined Tuesday that the sudden death of Harry F. Smith at his home in Woodson was caused by coronary Thrombosis, a form of heart disease.

Mr. Smith, a lifetime resident of Woodson, was found dead Monday at 5 p.m.

Coroner C. S. Young conducted an inquest at the Williamson Funeral Home. Jurors were Harry G. Craig, foreman; Leo Winter, Albert Chapman,Walter Kitchen, Sanford Covey and James Hitch, all of Woodson. Mrs. Neoma Strowmatt was shorthand reporter.

Testimony was given by members of the family: Mr. Smith, a carpenter by trade, had been to Jacksonville Monday afternoon, where he had purchased a new tire for his automobile. He had returned to his home and was changing the tire when he was stricken. His wife discovered his body lying on the ground near the car. She summoned A. D. Hermann, pastor of the Woodson Christian Church.

The son of John R. and Bell Wilson Smith, He was born near Woodson on Feb. 28,1884. He was united in marriage with Harriet Gallagher at Woodson on Sept. 12, 1907. Mr. Smith was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are: his wife, four sons, Roy E. of Canton, Edward of Jacksonville, Marion E. of Chicago and Harry R., stationed with the Navy in Jacksonville, Fla.; and two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Irene Sands of Coral Gables, Fla., and Mrs. Harriet Talkington of Jacksonville, He also leaves four grandchildren.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

The remains will be left at the Williamson Funeral Home until one hour before the services, which will be held Thursday Afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Woodson Christian Church. Rev. A. D. Hermann will officiate, and burial will be made in Asbury Cemetery.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday nights between 7:30 and 9:30 o'clock

HARRY F. SMITH FUNERAL SERVICES HELD THURSDAY

Funeral services for Harry F. Smith were held at 2:30 p.m. at the Woodson Christian Church. The pastor, the Rev. A. D. Hermann officiated, assisted by the Rev. A. Vanderhorst.

Mrs. Francis Plouer and Mrs. Gaylord Swisher sang. They were accompanied by Mrs. Joseph Self.

Caring for the flowers were Hubert Craig, Mrs. Russell McAlister, Mrs. George Riggs, Mrs. Percy Devore, Mrs. Hardin Sheppard and Mrs. Guy Hicks.

The Pallbearers were Edward Irlam, Herbert Owens, Robert McCormick, J. D. Erixon, William Casey and Percy Devore.

Burial was in Asbury Cemetery.
