MALLICOTE, DOROTHY MAE LISENBEE

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Mallicote, widow of Ed Mallicote, passed away Saturday evening at Passavant hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. Mrs. Mallicote had resided at 701 Freedman for the past two years, but for many years the family residence was at 1124 North Clay avenue.

She was born in Brown County Feb. 8, 1887, and was the daughter of William and Sherlida Lawson Lisenbee. She married Ed Mallicote, Aug 24, 1903, and he preceded her in death five years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Sappington of Edwardsville, Il., and Mrs. Kay Winner of Jacksonville; one son, Raymond, Portland Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Smith, Jacksonville; three brothers, Reed and William Lisenbee, Beardstown, and Sam Lisenbee of Seattle, Wash. There are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Grace Chapel church and active in the W.S.C.S. of the church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the Williamson Funeral home. Rev. William J. Boston will officiate with burial in the Arcadia cemetery.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7:30 until 9 o'clock. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 10:30 a.m. Monday.
