Greenview paper May 1997

Mary Rathsack of Greenview died Wednesday, May 21 at 3:24 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center. She was 98 years old.

She was born August 25, 1898 in Sweetwater, the daughter of Dr. Thomas C. Hill and Molly Hall Hill. She married Robert Rathsack in 1917, and he died in 1982. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Jageman in 1990; a grandson, David; and a granddaughter, Kathleen. Mrs. Rathsack attended Greenview United Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Marijane Amerkamp of Greenview; one grandson Donald L. Jageman of Martinez, CA, one great-great granddaughter, , Cynthia Jageman of CA and one great-great-great granddaughter, Monica of CA.

Remains are at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens where friends and family may call Wednesday., May 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. and where services will be held Thursday , May 29 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Greenview.
