Scott County Native Dies

Robert A. Lawson, a native of Scott County, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Florence Burbridge at Hillview. Death occurred Friday morning at 9:50 o'clock. {Dec 9, 1949}

He was born July 7, 1866 in Scott County, son of George W. and Nancy Lawson. His wife, the former Hulda Draper proceeded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Roy, Neponset, IL; Fletcher, Hillview and Gussie, Table Grove; two daughters Mrs. Edith Cox and Mrs. Burbridge; one brother, Edwin, all of Hillview.

Services were conducted at 2 pm Sunday at Hillview Baptist.
