WEBB NEWBURY, SESSER, DIES

Webb Newbury, 73, Sesser, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Miners Hospital  
Christopher. He was born July 24, 1892, in Jefferson County, the son of William  
and Elizabeth Wells Newbury. He was married to the former Rella Roberson in  
1914. Mr. Newbury leaves his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Morgan of Mt.  
Vernon; sons Albert of Rolla, Mo., Earl of Washburn, Arthur of Rensselaer, Ind.,  
and Bobbie of Sesser; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother 
Ray  of Peoria; and a sister Mrs. Margie Ingram of Mt. Vernon. Funeral services 
will  be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Brayfield Funeral Chapel in Sesser. The 
Rev.  Orville Ayers will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, 
Sesser.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
