Truman A. Neideffer
            
Truman A. Neideffer, 69, of 1902 Perkins, a licensed practical nurse at Chicago State Hospital, 
died at 4 pm Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
            
Mr. Neideffer was born in Xenia on Oct. 20, 1907, the son of Brent and Helen (Pickthaw) Neideffer.
He was married in Salem to Ruth Ward, who survives.  He was a member of the First Christian Church 
of Centralia, and was a past member of the Eagles Lodge.
            
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 pm at the Hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. 
Merle Fullerton officiating.  Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
            
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 pm Thursday.
            
In addition to his wife, Ruth, Mr. Neideffer is survived by two sons, Leonard D. Neideffer, 
Mt. Vernon, and Ward Neideffer, Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Weisbecker, Wente, Texas; 
nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lenn Neideffer, Centralia.
            
He was preceded in death by one grandson and one sister.
