Ruth B. Neideffer
            
Ruth B. Neideffer, 79, of 308 S. 9th St. died at 4:18 pm Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
            
She was born in Jefferson County on Oct. 16, 1900, the daughter of George and Mary (Smith) Ward.
She married Truman A. Neideffer, who died May 24, 1977.
She was a member of the Methodist faith.
            
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday at the Hughey Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Frank Tittle officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 pm today at the funeral home.
            
Mrs. Neideffer is survived by two sons, Leonard D. and Ward, both of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, 
Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Weisbecker of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
            
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Buddy; one sister and her parents.
