Juanita Myers

Juanita Myers, 79, of Mt. Vernon died Dec. 26, 2004 at Mt. Vernon 
Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker. She was born 
Nov. 8, 1925 in Mt. Vernon to Jefferson Hilliard and Wava (Roth) Hilliard. 
She married Anson Myers on July 14, 1944 in West Palm Beach, Florida. 
He died on Nov. 28, 1987. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hughey Funeral Home with 
burial to follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Mr. Randy Sells will officiate. 
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. 

She is survived by one son, Terry Myers and wife, Denise, of Bartonville; one 
daughter, Nikki Aubuchon and husband, John of Uniontown, MO., one brother, 
Albert Hilliard of Springfield, one sister, Sharon Rhinehart and husband, Bob, 
of St. Charles, MO., two sister-in-laws, Marilyn Hilliard of Centralia and 
Mary Ann Hilliard of McLeansboro. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Her parents, husband and by her two brothers, Jeff Hilliard, Jr. and 
Robert Hilliard preceded her in death. 

Mrs. Myers had been a member of the Central Christian Church since Dec. 6, 1934. 
She was very active in the church, especially with the food pantry. 

For those who wish memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church Building 
Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral 
Home, P.O. Box 721, in Mt. Vernon 62864. Arrangements have been entrusted to the 
care of Hughey Funeral Home, where you may call 242-3348 for obituary information 
at any time.
