John Auzie Murphy

John Auzie MURPHY, 76, died in a fire at his home in Cape Girardeau, Mo., yesterday.  
He was a brother of Evelyn Evans HATZENBUEHLER of Mt. Vernon.  Funeral services will 
be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at eh Pulley Chapel with the Rev. Max WOOD officiating.  
Burial will be in the Horse Prairie Cemetery, in Franklin County.  The body will lie 
in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today.
 
Mr. MURPHY was born in Franklin County, Ill., September 21, 1884, the son of John and 
Nancy (MOORE) MURPHY.  Mr. MURPHY was a member of the Walker General Baptist Church.
