Obituary - Monday, April 25, 1994 

Flossie P. Moss, 104, Mt. Vernon, died 11:10 a.m. April 23, 1994, 
at Nature Trail Nursing Home. 

Mrs. Moss, along with her husband, owned and operated Moss Market. 

She was born March, 19, 1890, in Ogden, a daughter of Thomas and 
Lucinda (Hobbs) Firebaugh. July 7, 1909, in Belleville, she married 
Moody Moss, who died in 1956. 

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery 
with Mr. J. Howard Kraps officiating. 

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today at Hughey Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Moss is survived by seven nephews, Dale Firebaugh of 
Danville, Clinton and Max Firebaugh, and Bob Ed Moss, all of 
Mt. Vernon, Kelly Firebaugh of Centralia, Henry Firebaugh of 
Buffalo, Mo., and George Culli of Three Rivers, Texas; and three 
nieces, Dorothy Olson of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Cindy Cummins of 
Geneva, N.Y., and Betty James of Aptos, California. 

Mrs. Moss was a member of the Central Christian Church. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her 
parents, eight brothers and four sisters. 

Memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church in Mt. 
Vernon and will be accepted at the funeral home.
