Wm. H. R. Morris
Wm. H.R. MORRIS, for many yrs. one of Webber twp.'s
most prominent and respected citizens, died at his home in
Bluford yesterday afternoon about 5 o'clock. Death was due
to paralysis and kidney trouble from which he had been a long
sufferer. About a yr. and a half ago he was stricken with
paralysis and since that time has been helpless.
He is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter: Fred Morris, Bluford;
Wm. F. Morris, Marion; E. N. Morris and Miss Ophelia Morris,
Bluford. Mrs. Morris died about 18 yrs. ago. Wm. H.R. Morris
was born in Robertson county, Tenn., but has been long a resident
of Jefferson county, having come to the county before the Civil war.
Plans for the funeral have not been completed further than burial
will be had at Black Oak Ridge cemetery.
