W. G. Morgan
            
Funeral services for W. G. Morgan of RFD 6, Mt. Vernon, who died Monday night at 
Jefferson Memorial Hospital, will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Hopewell Methodist Church.  
The Rev. Sam McCoy will officiate and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
            
The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, where friends may call any time until 
the funeral hour.
            
Mr. Morgan was born October 20, 1869 in Kentucky, the son of William and Ruth Jane (Wheeler) Morgan.
            
He was married 39 years ago to Janey Dennison, who preceded him in death.
            
Mr. Morgan was a farmer.
            
He was a member of the Church of God in Mt. Vernon.
            
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Verna Mulvaney of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Vada Sechrest of Salem; 
three brothers, Logan and Jesse of Mt. Vernon and Robert of Correctionville, Iowa; and two sisters, 
Mrs. Lova Lechschide of Perry, Ill. and Mrs. Ella Prinnell of Mt. Vernon.
