Chas. J. Moore Dies at Age 85 - Funeral Friday

Charles James Moore, of Belle Rive, died at 3:35 p.m. yesterday 
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Letha Howell, at 816 north Sixth street.  
His age was 85 years, two months and two days.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Meyers Chapel, with 
the Rev. Bird Green officiating and burial will be at Mt. Olive cemetery.

He was born May 30, 1865 in Bluford, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Moore.

He was married to Evaline McNew, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Letha Howell of Mt. Vernon; 
three brothers, Houston of Decatur, Ed of Bluford, and Morton of Bonnie; four 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
