Charles Milliner Jr.
Charles Milliner Jr., 80, of Ina died 1:46 p.m. Feb. 28, 2005, at
Memorial Hospital in Chester.
He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Bonnie, a son of Charles Milliner Sr.
and Mary (Bodine) Milliner. Mr. Milliner was a Navy veteran, serving
during World War II. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Milliner is survived by two brothers, Clifford Milliner of Tilden and
John Milliner of Danville; a sister, Hazel Chapman of Chester; five
nephews, Bill Badgett of Hurst, Don Nichols of Mt. Vernon, Bob Nichols of
Colorado, Ray Chapman of Redbud and Jim Chapman of Redbud; and three
nieces, Mary Sue Woods of Mt. Vernon, Kay Nichols of Chicago and Mary Jean
Rinehold of Redbud.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by three sisters, Eva Badgett,
Elsie Nichols and Golden Wilson.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at South Hickory Hill Cemetery
in Bonnie, with the Rev. Henrietta Dunavan officiating. Military rites will
be conducted by American Legion Post 141 of Mt. Vernon. There will be
no visitation. Those attending the service on Thursday are requested to
meet at the cemetery. Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of
