Louise Meyers

Louise Meyers, 74, of Waltonville died 5:45 p.m. Sept. 12, 2004, 
at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker. 

Mrs. Meyers was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Jefferson County to Charles H. and 
Pearl (Reynolds) Elliston. She married Harold William "Bill" Meyers 
May 2, 1946, in Mt. Vernon; he died March 20, 1996. 

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hughey Funeral 
Home in Mt. Vernon. The Rev. David Baker will officiate. Burial will 
follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. 
Tuesday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. 

Mrs. Meyers is survived by sons Bob Meyers and wife Mary of Lake of Egypt 
and Glen Meyers and wife Donna of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren; five 
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, 
Russell, Roy and Dick Elliston. 

Mrs. Meyers was a member of Long Prairie Christian Church.
