C. D. Meredith

C. D. MEREDITH, postmaster at Opdyke, died at his home in that village at 
3 o'clock this morning, of consumption, after a long illness. Mr. Meredith has 
not been able to speak above a whisper since his appointment as postmaster. 
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Norval Meredith, and was thirty-four years of age. 
The funeral and interment will be at Salem, three miles west of this city, about 1 o'clock 
tomorrow. The funeral party will leave Opdyke at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning and will 
reach here about noon. Deceased was unmarried.
