Harry Meadows


Harry Meadows, 69, of R.R.5, Mt. Vernon, died yesterday at 
the Dixon Public Hospital in Dixon.

Mr. Meadows was born in Onarga, the son of Wade H. and 
Hattie (Neabuhr) Meadows.  He was an operating engineer in road 
construction and a member of the Decatur Pentecostal Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Moore of Dixon and Mrs. 
Gloria Gazall of St. Louis; a brother John Meadows of Mr. Vernon; 
a sister Mrs. Isabelle Sargent of Dix; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Osborn 
Funeral Home in Dix with Rev. Verneil Garen officiating.  
Burial will be at the Boyd Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. tomorrow.
