Nora Hayes McPheeters
            
Mr. And Mrs. Jim Hayes, living on the Grant Farm, lost their daughter last Thursday.  She 
left two little children and a husband.  They have the sympathy of the Pleasant Grove community.  
Interment was at Hopewell Church.
            
Nora McPheeters was born November 30, 1895, died June 5, 1925, aged 29 years 6 months and 5 days.
She professed faith in Christ at the age of 12 years and joined the Missionary Baptist Church and 
lived a devoted Christian  life always being a great Church and Sunday School worker.
She was married to Jeffie McPheeters March 12,192_.  She leaves to mourn her loss a husband; two boys 
Homer, aged 7 and Paul aged 4; a father, mother, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.  Tiny McGhee of Detroit, 
Michigan, Clara Ponder of Shad__, Oklahoma and Stelle of Mt. Vernon. Steve, Jimmie, Clifford, Rayburn, 
and Johnnie all of Mt. Vernon, and Sammie of Detroit, Michigan.
