Margaret McGill

Mrs. Margaret McGILL, 85, a longtime resident of Mt. Vernon, died in 
Kirkwood, Mo., yesterday at the home of her son, John Crawford McGill. 
Mrs. McGill was born in Jefferson county October 23, 1871, the daughter of 
Joe and Mary (CLINE) YEARWOOD.  She was the widow of Donald Pierce 
McGill.  She is survived by her son; one brother, Charles, of East St. Louis who 
is 96; and a sister, Katherine WILSON of St. Louis.  Three brothers and two 
sisters are dead.  Mrs. McGill was a member of the First Baptist church. 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Pulley Funeral 
Chapel conducted by the Rev. Gene HOLCOMB.  Burial will be in Oakwood 
cemetery.
