Former Ina Resident
Dies at Sullivan

Mrs. Melinda Jane McBride died last Wednesday at the home of her son-in-law 
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Barnes at Sullivan. Her age was 97 years.

She had bean ill for about a month.

Mrs. McBride who was known to her many friends as "Aunt Linnie," was for years 
a resident of Ina. She left here some 35 years ago and has since made her home 
with her daughter Mrs. Barnes in Central Illinois.

She is survived by one daughter and three sons. Mrs. Emory Barnes of Sullivan Russell 
Mc Bride of Villa Grove. Holly McBride of Los Angeles, Calif., and Wm Webb of Mt Vernon.
A daughter Mrs. Velma Carroll preceded her in death.

Funeral service were held Saturday morning at the McMullin Funeral Home in Sullivan.

The body wae brought to the Kirk cemetery for burial where brief graveside rites were 
held also.
