Rozella Lynn (Upton) Marlow
            
Rozella Lynn (Upton) Marlow, 43, of Mt. Vernon died Dec. 24, 1997, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital 
in St. Louis.
            
She was a dog groomer for Thomas Animal Hospital.
            
Mrs. Marlow was born July 24, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of Marvin and Wilma (Hayes) Upton.  
July 14, 1973, in Mt. Vernon, she married Philip Marlow, who survives.
            
Services will be 1:30 pm Saturday at the Newell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff VanDyke officiating. 
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm today at the Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.  Eastern Star service 
will be held at 7 pm.
            
Mrs. Marlow is survived by her mother, Wilma (Hayes) Upton; her husband Philip A. Marlow; one daughter, 
Amanda Marlow of the home; one son, Adam Marlow of the home; and one sister, Marlene Williamson of 
Belle Rive.
            
Mrs. Marlow was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Upton.
            
She was a member oh Hopewell United Methodist Church.  She was a past member of Mt. Vernon Jr. 
Women's Club and member of Mt. Vernon Chapter 233 Order of the Eastern Star.
