H. P. Marlow

The remains of the late H. P. MARLOW, who died of dropsy at 
Birmingham, Ala., Wednesday afternoon, reached Opdyke on the 
early L & N train yesterday morning and were taken overland 
to Marlow, where the funeral services were held at noon, followed 
by interment at Black Oak Ridge cemetery. 

Among those who attended the funeral from this city were Mr. and 
Mrs. John Waite and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Puffer. Mrs. Marlow 
and children came up from Birmingham with the remains of the deceased 
and will remain for some time as the guests of relatives in this county.
