Lucy F. Marlin
            
Mrs. Lucy F. Marlin died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at  the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Todd, 
313 North Fourth Street.  Her death occurred 17 days after she had observed her 81st birthday.
            
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. today at Hopewell Church, with the Rev. J. C. Harris of 
Mt. Vernon officiating, and burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
            
Mrs. Marlin was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Brockett) Turner.
            
Fifty-eight years ago she was married to Hamilton Marlin, who preceded her in death in April 1944.
            
She had been a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church for 43 years.
            
Surviving are one son, Terry N. Marlin of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Hallie Todd of Mt. Vernon 
and Mrs. Ethel Herring of St. Louis; and four brothers, Thomas, George and L. A. of Brownsville, and 
Samuel of Temple City, Calf.
            
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
