MRS. CORA E. MANN DIED TODAY, FUNERAL TO BE HELD SUNDAY
            
Mrs. Cora E. Mann, widow of the late Thomas R. Mann died 
at 12:15 this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Paul Brown, Mt. Vernon.
            
Mrs. Mann was 68 years old.  She was the daughter of the late 
Joseph and Amanda Roden McFarland and lived in the Hopewell 
neighborhood for many years.  She was a member of the Hopewell 
Methodist Church.  Her husband died in 1934.
            
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Georgia E. Alexander and 
Mrs. Jessie Moos of Lincoln and Mrs. Gladys Mattox and Mrs. 
Lela Mae Brown of Mt. Vernon. One sister, Martha J. McFarland of 
Paris, Ill., is living.
            
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock 
at Hopewell Church conducted by Rev. Storey.  Interment will 
be in the cemetery nearby.
            
The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home at Dix until 
six o'clock Saturday evening after which time friends may call 
at the family home in Hopewell neighborhood.
